For the redesign of the MoM blog we agreed on several issues: we wanted to make better use of screen real estate; we wanted to present more postings in a single overview; the presentation of the postings should be more inviting and engaging. We decided on a layout based around time-based hierarchy, giving the most recent posts more space on the front page, and set out to each make individual designs around these concepts. I was to concentrate on fonts and colour schemes.
Inkscape Adventures

When it came to making a drawing however, I started too late too actually get anywhere. And I kept hitting these annoying snags, like not being able to erase small sections of an object. This is as far as I got. I don’t like it all, but hey.
Students vs Teachers- Fight!

The ASVA has been organizing a teacher of the year award for the UvA for quite some years now, and this years they branched out to the HvA as well. To promote this momentous (not really though) event, they asked Hot Stuff Media to make a promotional video. We went around asking students and teachers what they thought a good theacher should be. The answers may shock you!
Not really though.
